Kristan Group is a diversified private investment and advisory firm headquartered in London and Cape Town. We provide strategic, financial and operational support to individuals and companies pursuing growth, investment and acquisition opportunities.
Since 2012, the Group has invested in more than 30 businesses across technology, media, advertising, 2D and 3D animation, mobile gaming and betting, fashion and beauty distribution, e-commerce, film production, property and the luxury sector.

Across its portfolio, Kristan Group has combined equity investment with hands-on commercial, strategic and operational involvement.
Early investments included BitterBean Media and OneLuxury. Under active ownership, BitterBean developed into a leading commercial and technical 2D and 3D animation studio, while OneLuxury grew into Southern Africa’s largest online luxury platform, supported by physical showrooms across South Africa.
Kristan Group became one of Uber’s largest launch partners in South Africa. Portfolio company Hubble Technology subsequently became Uber’s first global in-vehicle digital advertising partner, installing screens in more than 3,000 vehicles and reaching a valuation of ZAR 450 million.
Kristan Group invested in Undiscovered Production, a leading South African television-commercial production company, adding accomplished live-action production capability to its growing media portfolio.
The Group invested in SportClever, a sports prediction and online betting platform, broadening its exposure to digital sport, audience engagement and data-led entertainment.
Kristan Group acquired an equity stake in Dura Lavora, a leading South African cosmetics distributor. Working alongside the business, the Group helped build a nationwide retail distribution network and secure exclusive African distribution rights for Fake Bake.
Kristan Group invested in Caven Digital, a South African mobile game developer, extending the portfolio into interactive entertainment and mobile-first content.
Kristan Group acquired an equity stake in 4EM, a leading South African PR, media and influencer agency, extending the portfolio’s capabilities across strategic communications, earned media and creator partnerships.
The Group brought seven complementary businesses—BitterBean Animation, Undiscovered Production, Hubble Technology, 4EM PR, Caven Digital, Owtcast Media and SportClever—together under one operating structure: Kristan Media (Pty) Ltd.
KGP Real Estate acquired its first apartment at Station House, the mixed-use development and aparthotel in Sea Point, Cape Town, marking the beginning of the Group’s presence in the building.
Kristan Group established KPO Family Office to provide discreet strategic counsel across wealth, governance, private investments and family office services for families and founders.
Kristan Group partnered with MegaPlus to offer investment opportunities in renewable energy. MegaPlus acquires, develops, finances and constructs Battery Energy Storage System projects across Europe, with more than 25MW successfully delivered and installed.
The Group acquired an equity stake in EAC Events London, a full-service event consultancy with more than a decade of experience delivering strategic, creative and precisely executed brand experiences for leading global clients.
KPO Athletes was established to provide strategic, financial and career advisory for professional athletes and their families, supporting the transition from active careers to enduring wealth and legacy.
Kristan Group acquired an equity stake in Merchii, a leading UK-based premium merchandise business serving companies, agencies, events and global brands.
Today, Kristan Group maintains equity interests across media, battery energy storage, luxury e-commerce and distribution, property, professional advisory, events and branded merchandise.
